My name is Elena Ronca. I am a licensed tour guide, a licensed tour leader and an environmental hiking guide.
For the past fifteen years, I have been accompanying travelers, groups and school classes as they discover Tuscia and the territories of Lazio, Tuscany and Umbria.

Being a Tour Guide in Italy

In Italy, working as a professional tour guide requires an official qualification and registration in the National Register of Tour Guides. Only properly licensed guides are authorized to accompany visitors at sites of historical and artistic interest.

Environmental Hiking Guides

The profession of environmental hiking guide (GAE) is not regulated by a single national law in Italy, but professionalism remains essential. Proper training, insurance coverage and compliance with tax regulations are all important aspects that distinguish qualified professionals from those who simply improvise.

Insurance

Professional liability insurance covers potential damage caused to third parties, protecting both the guide and the people taking part in the activity. Although it is not mandatory, a professional guide should always have appropriate insurance coverage. AssoGuide provides third-party liability insurance (RCT) with coverage of up to €5,000,000.

Safety & Responsibility

Choosing a professional guide means enjoying your experience with greater peace of mind. A guide is trained in group management, risk assessment and emergency procedures.
