My name is Elena Ronca, and I am an Environmental Hiking Guide.
Since 2010, I have been organizing and leading hikes for everyone,exploring nature, history, and local traditions with Percorsi Etruschi, , together with my colleagues Daniela Pesce and Luca Berchicci — who by now are so much more than just colleagues.
Our itineraries take place mainly across northern Lazio, Tuscany, and Umbria,the area where I was born and where I live. These landscapes are much more than beautiful natural settings: they are cultural landscapes,shaped over thousands of years by civilizations, peoples, and stories that can still be read in the contours of the land.
Walking through these places means following Etruscan rock-cut roads, ancient sacred paths, and pilgrimage routes such as the Via Francigena.
You can follow in the footsteps of nineteenth-century bandits, explore vineyards, olive groves, and pastures still cultivated using traditional methods.
Every landscape — from deep gorges to gentle hills, from rocky woodlands to riverbanks — has a story to tell.
